MacKenzie Falls is the Grampians’ most famous waterfall and flows year round, located in the northern section of the park. Visitors can access the falls via a short, sealed walk to the lookout for views from above, or take the MacKenzie Falls Base Walk, which involves over 250 steep steps down into the gorge and back. Allow 45 to 90 minutes depending on the route chosen, and be prepared for a strenuous climb on the return from the base.
